Relationship Manager

This is a full-time, on-site Relationship Manager role based in Guwahati. The Relationship Manager will build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and advisors, ensuring high levels of engagement, satisfaction, and retention. Responsibilities include understanding customer insurance needs, providing consultative guidance on suitable products, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth policy issuance, servicing, and claims support. The role involves regular follow-ups, managing customer queries and escalations, tracking portfolio performance, and identifying opportunities for cross-selling and upselling. The Relationship Manager will also contribute to local business development activities, support branch operations, and uphold PolicyBoss.com’s standards for transparent and hassle-free customer interactions.

Candidates should possess strong customer relationship management skills, including stakeholder engagement, client servicing, and retention-focused interaction. Candidates should possess consultative selling and insurance advisory skills, with the ability to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate products and solutions. Candidates should possess communication and interpersonal skills, including clear verbal and written communication, active listening, and the ability to build trust. Candidates should possess organizational and follow-up skills, such as pipeline management, time management, and accurate documentation of customer interactions. Candidates should possess basic analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret customer data, track portfolio performance, and address issues proactively. Prior experience in insurance, financial services, banking, or related customer-facing roles is highly beneficial. Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a specialization in business, finance, insurance, or related fields is an advantage. Comfort working with CRM tools and digital platforms, along with proficiency in MS Office applications. Ability to work on-site in Guwahati, adapt to a dynamic environment, and meet performance targets in line with company goals.
